MY STAY AT COVENANT UNIVERSITY SO FAR

 Ever since I have known Covenant University, its name has always been tagged along with optimum seriousness concerning spirituality, high academic standards and a sound structure in rules and regulations. Covenant University, also known as Hebron, was truly the birth place of kings and queens as its alumni have made notable impact in our society and the world at large. They were nothing short of eagles.

By God's special grace, I had been privileged to apply to this prestigious institution and take their Post-UTME which they call Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Screening (CUSAS). A few weeks later, I had gotten admission. I made necessary preparations and finally set foot in Hebron. I was warmly welcomed by higher level student who volunteered to assist in resumption luggage search since I had arrived in the night when most of the staff in charge had gone.

Well, my first week had been a bit rough for me because I had to register my biometrics,which took hours of standing in a queue, and I had to go for a compulsory medical check up which also involved another series of standing in queues. In addition, the school management set up a one-week freshman orientation programme after the given resumption date.This involved mostly the head of different offices of management to talk to us on what they do and how it affects the school. I think the orientation was quite comprehensive and accessible as the presentation slides were up for downloads for reference on the website.

What I love about Covenant University is their devotedness to spiritual things and academics.Although, I have experienced some difficulty in internet stability and water supply. I have also noticed that there are a variety of food sold in the university and places where students can easily purchase provisions and other necessities without having to step out out of the school.There are also services like CU shuttle services, hairdressing services, laundry services and others in order to assist the students and make residing in the university comfortable for students

Despite the lapses, Covenant University is a suitable place to attain academic prowess, gain spiritual empowerment and get built totally for the life ahead of graduation.So far,this place has been an interesting place to be in.
